This is a species of epidendrum not a hybrid. The red color is very uncommon. They grow relatively fast. The larger plants in the photos are 2 years old. It helps to use a trellis if you want them to grow upright. This epidendrum can be grown as an epiphyte, but they seem to prefer growing in very light soil. I mist with water every other day. Mine are growing in morning sun and bright shade in the afternoon. Young plants bloom from January through September. My older plants always have some flowers.

6-10" plants are grown and shipped in 6" plastic containers.
