Philodendron imbe islemanii variegata is commonly called 'Jose Buono'.  The leaves of a mature plant will reach 24" in length and 10" wide. The leaf shape would best be described as an elongted arrow.  The mature vine can be 1--2" in diameter.  They are very large vines comparable in size to a Monstera 'Thai Constellation'. Like most philo's, the Imbe is very hardy.  They are vines and prefer to attach to a tree in nature, so a post is essential for good growth.  They are not epiphitic and must have roots in soil.  Allow the soil to dry completely before watering.  Bright shade to full sun is preferred for maximum leaf color. Imbe's will still have beautiful leaves in deep shade.
